Hello everyone, This week has been Mental Health Awareness week. This year the theme has been 'Surviving or Thriving?' As you know, Mental Health Awareness is something that i feel very strongly about, and I hope this week has helped to reduce the social stigmas attached to the subject. I have written a personal post on my Blog about this week if you would like to have a look: ajackalsvoice.blogspot.co.uk/2017/05/mental-health-awareness-week.htmlI would like to hear from you though. What does Mental Health Awareness Week mean to you? Do you think it could be improved? Perhaps you think it is unnecessary? Please, leave a comment in this thread and lets discuss mental health.

I'd like to get many more educated around mental illness topics because a lot of people don't fully grasp what these illnesses can do to people.

Mental Health effects more than just the individual with the condition, but friends and family too. It can effect your career and your relationships just as much as any physical illness can. It would certainly be easier if everyone understood a little more how it can effect people.
